As we approach the half way stage of our Kickstarter campaign we’re at the 40% funded mark and have been selected by Kickstarter as a ‘Project We Love’. This effectively means we are a featured project on Kickstarter. Great start but we now need to keep building on that positive start!
Throughout the campaign we’ve been getting asked ‘what is the difference between the original journals and the new ones?’. Great question and understandably important to potential backers. So, we created the image below to highlight the main differences. Let’s talk about them in a bit more detail.
The first thing you’ll notice is the increase in size from A6 to A5. Our backers asked for more space to journal around your thoughts, draw, add stickers and more. Well, your wish is our command. The only exception is the Core Journal as you told us that portability is important to you. So we’ve kept that A6 so it will continue to fit easily in your bags and pockets!
We know that many journalers like to do cool things in their journals like mind map, add stickers, draw etc. However, that isn’t the only reason we have created stickers. The nature of life and personal development is that everything is inter-connected. The foundation journal themes of your values, beliefs, strengths and vision are, therefore, inter-connected as well. Our stickers will allow you to highlight and cross reference insights in different journals so that you’ll be able to connect the dots.
We’ve taken even more of a ‘coaching approach’ within the new ‘more open’ format. We have simplified the exercises in each journal and combined that with powerful questions that will increase your self-awareness and draw out those potentially life changing ‘ah ha’ moments. The larger A5 size will give you more space to capture all those important thoughts, actions and reflections.
Within the Core Journal we have expanded the Life Maps exercise to include a mind map on how you want to be as a person. Our mindset and attitude are so key to how we are every day and what we achieve so we felt it was important to add that in! We have also simplified the way in which you measure and track progress. Rather than lots of numbers and graphs it is a much easier but equally effective way to set goals and measure your progress every day and week.
We hope that has helped to clarify the redesigned journals. However, please do let us know if you have any further questions.
Don’t forget that you can get more info on the journals and pledge for them over on our Kickstarter page. Check them out here.
Have an amazing week!
